This is the sequel to 1983's Oscar-winning "Terms of Endearment". In it, China plays "Jane", the girlfriend of one of Shirley Mclaine's grandsons, and mother of his son, Bump. She's only in six scenes, totalling about 15 minutes from a 2-hour film, and only has any real lines in the first one. The rest of the time she's on screen, it's mainly background stuff, and the occasional line.
As for the film itself, well, it's a bit dull, and quite heavy going. If you liked the original, you'll probably like the sequel. Everyone else can just fast-forward to the bits where China 's on screen! (Hint: She doesn't put in an appearence until just over 30 minutes into the film, so you can skip the first half-hour completely!!!)
Cast list to follow.
