Biography:
A long-time friend of Paul Kantner, his marriage to Ginger Jackson broke up when she had an affair with Kantner. The two remained friends, and Laudner became one of the Airplane's early road crew. When Bill Thompson was promoted to manager following the dismissal of Matthew Katz, Laudner took over as road manager, becoming a familiar sight as he roller-skated around airports wearing an orange jump-suit.
